Keeping your cat cool…

Have you tried these simple things to help keep your cat cool in the heat?

– Freeze a water bottle, wrap it in a towel and pop it in their bed.

– Make sure they have access to shade inside and outside, particularly between 10am and 3pm.

– Put on a fan, keeping the air circulating will help them and you to stay cool.

– Access to plenty of drinking water is important – try extra bowls around the house.

– Wide brimmed water bowls are best, ideally in metal, ceramic or glass.

– Have you tried a water fountain? Some cats love running water.
