From 6 April 2016 all dogs must be microchipped and registered with an approved database by the time they are 8 weeks old.

Since the 24 June 2024 it is mandatory for all cats to be microchipped and registered with approved database.

It is up to you to keep your pet’s chip details up to date with the database company, please call if you require any advice.
