BIOGRAPHY

About Sam

Sam graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2019, and dove straight into mixed practice in West Dorset before joining Friars Moor in 2022. During this time, Sam developed his interest in small animal medicine, in particular endocrinology, neurology and urogenital disease, so much so he decided to start a certificate in small animal medicine, to be completed in 2023. Found over at Sturminster and Blandford, Sam also enjoys veterinary education, end of life care and the occasional soft tissue surgery.

Whilst not at work, Sam lives with his partner (also a vet), a grumpy cat (Saffron) and a badly behaved but well-meaning Labrador (Sidney). He is often found either reading, exploring the Dorset countryside and trying/failing to learn to cook.
