Jordon Egan

Jordon, originally from the villages of South Northamptonshire, always had an interest in the variety and wide range of species the veterinary world had to offer. After growing up during school holidays over Summers and Easters on the family farm in Ireland, she was interested in all creatures great and small. Jordon graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020 and began life in a mixed practice, focusing on farm and small animals. After leaving the corporate vet practice world, she began life with Friars Moor as a small animal part-time vet and on farm with the Animal Plant Health Agency. Jordon has her partner, Gabriel, who is a medic, and their very spoilt rescue cat from her early days in Sherborne – Billy. Billy is a very handsome black moggy with a fair few conditions of his own, which are being managed well but going strong at 15! Billy makes full use of Friars Moor’s health plan to have his yearly blood checks. Jordon has a particular interest in feline medicine, but also misses a canine companion for dog walks across the beautiful Dorset countryside and won’t be long before she rescues a canine of her own.
