Gamebirds

The game bird industry is both economically and socially important in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire and we aim to take a proactive approach to disease control in your rearing pens.

Flock Health planning

To identify specific problems in your flock and focus on disease prevention to ensure you rearing is successful.

Disease investigation and post-mortem examination

Our dedicated in house post mortem room means that we can provide prompt diagnosis of any problems. Submission of 2 or 3 live birds is best to ensure a diagnosis can be made.

In house laboratory

Post mortem and faecal samples can be analysed on site in our in-house laboratory to diagnose gutworms, gapeworm, coccidia and hexamita. Rapid turnaround of results allows us to use targeted therapy in disease outbreaks.
