Beef Suckler Benchmarking Group

Beef Suckler Benchmarking Group meetingThe economic margins of running a suckler herd are very tight, with income being primarily dependent on the annual sale of weaned calves, stores or fat cattle. Consequently, it is very important to maximise the reproductive performance of your cows and bulls and the health and growth of the calves born.

The Beef Suckler Benchmarking Group aims to improve productivity and profitability through the the sharing of knowledge between farmers and the benchmarking of their performance data. Membership includes access to the SAHPS health plans, where data is recorded and a calendar of actions generated, alongside quarterly meetings.

Please call the practice for more information or if you would like to be part of the group.
