Covid 19 Protection – Livestock Health

Following the latest Covid 19 announcements Friars Moor will continue to provide routine fertility visits, TB testing, foot trimming and emergency work. Vet tech work will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Rachel Blackmore

Rachel went to Kingston Maurward where she got an NVQ2 in Animal care. She joined Friars Moor in 2018.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, family and friends, horse riding and walking her dogs Emma and Frank.

Vikki joined Friars Moor Vets as a receptionist at Blandford in May 2019.

Dan qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2016; and since has worked in a small animal practice in Hertfordshire, before joining the Friars Moor Team in February 2019. He has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery as well as endocrine medical conditions.

James Hall

James comes from a family farming background near Bere Regis and has worked with the cattle all his life.

He has a Springer Spaniel called Poppy and in his spare time enjoys working at home, rearing his own beef calves; he has a passion for breeding and AI of cattle.
