Friars Moor Vets are taking the risk of Covid 19 very seriously. As a practice we are continuing to provide the best service we can in these difficult times. On this page, we bring together everything you need to know about how our services are affected. We appreciate your understanding at this time.
Pets / Small Animal / Surgery Visits
We are restricting movement between our branches. As a result, there may be some variations in Surgery opening hours – when possible, advance notice will be posted here, and at the foot of every page on this website, under ‘Our Surgeries’.
If your pet is unwell please call your preferred branch of Blandford, Shaftesbury or Sturminster to book an appointment. The team will give you further information on the practice protocols and how we are adhering to social distancing.
Please ensure all repeat prescriptions are ordered via our online service and that you choose the preferred branch you would like to collect from. Please collect your repeat prescription before 4.30pm Monday-Friday.
For current Opening Hours –
please see the panel at the foot of this page
(and throughout the website).
We are available outside of the those times for emergencies.
Notice (read anything listed here first):
- (no additional info - please see updates below)
In order to continue providing a normal service to our farm clients, all our livestock vets are now working from their cars. Please ring the surgery as usual to book visits and drugs.
Note that Livestock Health is operating separately from the surgeries, and unless otherwise indicated, scheduled visits will take place as arranged, even if/when surgeries may need to close (e.g. for a deep clean).
