Vets and nurses treated to diarrhoea talk at lunchtime!

In May we were delighted to have Flo Juvet, DVM, Dip ECVIM, MRCVS,  European Specialist in Small Animal Medicine from Southern Counties Vet Specialists, present a lecture on the delicate topic of diarrhoea to a group of hungry vets and nurses over lunch. Luckily, vets and nurses have notoriously strong stomachs! The lecture provided us with an up to date overview of the latest thinking on treating diarrhoea particularly the chronic type lasting more than several weeks. Topics included causes such as dietary sensitivities and parasites, various testing methods, and treatments such as hypoallergenic diets, worming and possibly courses of antibiotics or steroids. We would like to thank Flo for taking the time to come and provide us with such an interesting and useful lecture over her lunch hour.

The level of support, knowledge and understanding goes above and beyond, from all [the Friars Moor team].
