Vet Tech Services

Our dedicated Farm Animal Vet Techs provide a range of services at a reasonable rate to assist you with routine management and livestock handling.

Our Vet Techs can administer all vaccines/wormers for your herd/flock.

Our Vet Techs are fully equipped to deal with calves using our own calf crush and disbudding equipment.

We are able to take a range of samples from milk to faecal for both in house and commercial testing where necessary.

Livestock Handling

Our Vet Techs can provide that much needed extra pair of hands on busy days such as during TB testing or administering of vaccines.

Mobility/Condition Scoring

We can carry out both of these services as an aid to your herd management. Mobility scoring can help identify the level of lameness in your herd and which cows to act on. Body Condition Scoring is useful for assessing nutrition at various points in a lactation.

Ketosis Monitoring

We can collect and test milk samples for ketosis in your freshly calved cows in order to assess the success of your transition management.
